I have been working on this commission for a while. I started a very big canvas (4 ft x 3ft) at the same time as the composition interested me – neither are complete yet, but I am getting there! I think that the larger canvas will prompt a few more very large paintings that I will exhibit in Margate and Whitstable during the Summer. They will be looser and maybe with some more of the orange base showing through!
